The main objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of policies and programs that support the competitiveness of companies in the cultural-creative field, through the exchange of best practices between the partner regions. Through the interaction between the actors involved in this field, the development of the competitive advantages of entities active in the cultural and creative industries sector is considered by facilitating access to financing opportunities, through the development of new or improved financial instruments, based on emerging financing schemes such as: micro-credits, tax and contribution refunds, crowdfunding, stimulating investments in creative industries through the development of efficient regional ecosystems.
Implementation period: January 2017 – December 2021
The RCIA project is financed by the Interreg Europe 2014-2020 interregional cooperation program with a total budget of EUR 1,877,340, of which the total budget related to the Northwest ADR is EUR 149,145.
The implementation of the activities is carried out within a consortium coordinated by Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH, which also includes eight other partners: Public Service of Wallonia (Belgium), Creative Business Cup (Denmark), Central Greece Region (Greece), Regional Development Agency Nord- Vest (Romania), ALTUM Financial Development Institution (Latvia), Innovation Research and Marketing - IDM South Tyrol (Italy), Lublin City Municipality (Poland) and Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation (Spain).
