Emblematic building of the Municipality of Zalău, the Transilvania Building delights with its eclectic style. Its uniqueness is given by the mural that adorns the ceiling of the former ballroom, a painting made in art nouveau style and which has an area of 250 m². Following the rehabilitation of the Transilvania Building through REGIO 2007-2013, the local community regained access to a series of cultural activities, and the historic center became more attractive for locals and tourists alike.
