Do you have a young business with innovative potential in one of the fields of the creative industries?
Apply by June 12 at Creative Business Cup, one of the largest international competitions in the creative industries sector, in which hundreds of start-ups from over 60 countries participate, being a promotion and financing platform for innovative products and services, with potential for global applicability.
At the Creative Business Cup 2017, the best ideas from the fields of: design, architecture, arts and crafts, advertising, film, video and photography, performing arts, music, fashion, publishing and press, radio and television, video games and web enter the competition. design, virtual publications, toys and games.
Romania is participating, for the sixth year, in the competition that will take place in Copenhagen, in November of this year. In the national stage, 5 creative entrepreneurs will be selected, who will be offered financial and business consulting and will benefit from fundraising and pitching workshops, and then in September, in a dedicated national event, the winner will be chosen.
Thus, the most creative entrepreneurs from each participating country will present their ideas to obtain both investments and prizes in cash and services of over 100,000 Euros, enjoying exposure in the international environment, in front of investors and partners.
Selection criteria aim at:
- Creative industries product or service, including ITC, that is at least at prototype level
- The applicant entity must be a start-up, with an age of no more than 6 years
- The product or service has development potential, including at an international level (scalability potential)
- Competencies and team structure
The North-West Regional Development Agency supports the field of creative industries at the regional level by implementing the interregional cooperation project Regional Alliance of Creative Industries, together with Creative Business Cup from Denmark and other partners from Europe.
