The Northwest Regional Development Agency invites you to participate on May 25 and 26, 2021 in the online event dedicated to the completion of the project C-Voucher. For 3 years, intense activities aimed at supporting the development of innovative solutions for the circular economy, in the direction of resource sustainability, combating waste and environmental protection, took place within this project.

On the first day of the event, May 25, you will have the opportunity to meet the C-Voucher Champions, 15 of the 54 companies that have benefited from the Circular Economy Acceleration Programs and the innovation vouchers for the development of circular solutions. These companies have qualified for the final competition for the C-Voucher Awards and will present the progress of the circular solutions developed through the project. 

The second day, May 26, is dedicated, in the first part, to regions and organizations interested in developing and managing financing schemes for the circular economy through Calibration Program online, made available by the consortium members. The second part will be dedicated to sustainability, future funding opportunities, aimed equally at the business environment and clusters, universities and research institutes, regions and public authorities.

The C-Voucher consortium consists of 13 partner organizations from 6 European countries: development agencies, business accelerators, clusters, support companies. As part of the project, in the period 2019-2021, four calls for financing innovative solutions for the circular economy were launched and managed, within them innovation vouchers and support services were granted, directed to enterprises from the agri-food industry, the processing industry, textiles , water and health. 54 projects from over 20 countries were selected, with a total budget of 4.2 million euros.

The 54 companies that benefited from the C-Voucher Acceleration Programs were assisted by mentors for design thinking components, business development, public funding opportunities and coaching for attracting private funding:

• 12 companies benefited from 60,000 euro vouchers for prototyping and testing circular economy solutions in a 12-month acceleration program;
• 42 companies analyzed the feasibility of a circular economy solution in their own activity, through assistance for 3 months in the development of a Business Plan and later through a voucher of 15,000 euros.
