The North-West Regional Development Agency organizes the first meeting of the Regional Advisory Committee within the TRAM project - "Action Plans for sustainable urban mobility", financed by the Territorial Cooperation Program INTERREG Europe 2014-2020.
The event will take place on November 15, 2016 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the ADR Nord-Vest headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, Dorobantilor str. no. 3, large meeting room. The main purpose of the meeting is to take inventory of the state of development of the Urban Mobility Plans in the North-West Region, as well as to present possible intelligent solutions for improving urban mobility.
The main objective of the TRAM project is to stimulate collaboration between partner regions and support the exchange of best practices in the field of urban mobility, thus facilitating the transition to more efficient, cleaner and more sustainable modes of urban transport.
Along with ADR North – West, the project brings together 4 other partners from the European Union, such as the Government of the Andalucia Region from Spain, the Blekinge Region from Sweden, the Municipality of Miskolc from Hungary and the Marche Region from Italy, the latter being the coordinator of the consortium.
The involvement of the North-West ADR in the project involves both the identification of good practices at the regional level and the acquisition of knowledge from the partners in the project - with experience in the field of urban mobility - and their transfer to the main actors in the Region in order to improve the implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans .
