The project was financed from the Interreg IVC Program, its purpose being to facilitate collaboration between European regions located on the external borders of the European Union that have decided to collaborate more closely and participate together in actions to address common challenges.

The project aimed to develop a better understanding related to the key challenges, strategies and main actors and actions with major influence on the actions with impact on the innovation process and on the development of SMEs in the border regions.
