The Northwest Regional Development Agency (ADR) was established in accordance with Law no. 151/1998 (regional development law, later repealed by Law no. 315/2004), by Decision no. 4/16.12.1998 of the Council for Regional Development of the North-West Development Region, as a public utility NGO acting in areas specific to regional development.
The Northwest Regional Development Agency (ADR) is the coordinator and editor of five Regional Development Plans (RDP), developed in partnership with the Regional Planning Committee: PDR 1999, PDR 2000-2002, PDR 2004-2006, PDR 2007-2013 and PDR 2014-2020.
For the period 2014-2020, ADR North-West fulfills the role of Intermediate Body for the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, co-financed from the structural funds; The Management Authority for ROP 2014-2020 is the Ministry of Public Works, Development and Administration.
In order to carry out the specific activities of the 2014-2020 ROP in the North-West Development Region, by ensuring the salary for the FESI staff within the North-West ADR, as well as by ensuring the expenses necessary to carry out the activities specific to the attributions in the Delegation Framework Agreement, the Regional Development Agency North-West signed the contract related to the technical assistance project named: "Support for ADR North-West for the implementation of ROP 2014-2020 in the period 2020-2021".
The project corresponds to Priority Axis 12 of the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 – Technical assistance.
The general objective of the project is represented by the financial support for the Intermediate Body within the North-West ADR for carrying out the activities specific to the duties delegated by the "Framework Agreement for the delegation of duties regarding the implementation of the ROP 2014-2020".
The specific objectives of the project:
Ensuring the necessary financial support for the North-West ADR in the period 2020-2021, in order to carry out the specific activities of the 2014-2020 ROP in the North-West Development Region, by ensuring the salary for the FESI staff within the North-West ADR, as well as by ensuring the expenses necessary to carry out the activities related to the attributions in the Framework Delegation Agreement.
Increasing the level of awareness of the general public regarding the ROP, an objective that will be achieved by providing specific support for information and communication to potential beneficiaries / beneficiaries of ROP financing, under conditions of transparency and equal treatment.
The results:
In addition to ensuring the financial support for ADR North-West in the period 2020-2021, necessary to carry out the specific activities of the ROP, respectively salaries co-financed from the ROP, covering the expenses with the trips necessary to carry out the activity, the provision of services, fixed assets and administration expenses necessary for the operation OI, the project will also result in an increase by 2% of the general public's awareness of the ROP, which can be achieved by conducting information and advertising campaigns and events, information materials and promotional products produced and distributed.
