On October 7, the launch conference of the TRAM project took place in Ancona - "Elaboration of Action Plans for sustainable urban mobility", the meeting being organized by the leader of the consortium, the Marche Region. The project brings together 5 partners from 5 EU member states (Italy, Sweden, Spain, Hungary and Romania) and aims both to facilitate the transfer of good practices in the field of sustainable urban mobility and to improve policies, strategies and programs dedicated to urban transport.
During the conference, Mr. Angelo Sciapichetti, Regional Minister for Transport and Member of the Government of the Marche Region, Mrs. Letizia Casonato, Head of the Department of Transport in the Marche Region and Mr. Mauro Terzoni, Director of the EU Policy Directorate in the Marche Region.
The event ended with a round table moderated by Mr. Giuseppe D'Angelo, Coordinator of the Interregional Mobility Commission, during which the partner regions presented a series of good practices dedicated to improving sustainable urban mobility. From the North-West Region, the initiatives of the Municipality of Oradea were presented, with an emphasis on the rehabilitation of the tram line and the expansion of pedestrian areas. The presentation was supported by the guest of ADR Nord-Vest, Mr. Ovidiu Guler, project manager from Oradea City Hall.

The TRAM project is financed from the Territorial Cooperation Program, Interreg Europe 2014-2020 and has a total budget of 1,264,078 euros, of which the ADR Northwest budget is 122,390 euros.
